Happy Ganesh Chaturthi

 

Wish you all very happy Ganesh Chaturthi 2021. Ganesh Chaturthi is also called Vinayaka Chaturthi . This is a yearly celebration for the Hindus to commend 10-day festival marking the birth of the elephant-headed deity Ganesha, the god of prosperity and wisdom. It begins on the fourth day (chaturthi) of the month of Bhadrapada (August–September), the sixth month of the Hindu calendar.

Ganesha is known as the God of riches, sciences, information, intelligence, and thriving, and that is the reason most Hindus recollect him and look for his favors prior to beginning any significant work. Ruler Ganesh is known by 108 distinct names like Gajanana, Vinayaka, Vighnaharta among others.

Ganesh Chaturthi History

 

 

 

As per the primary story, Lord Ganesha was made by Parvati out of soil from her body to watch her without Shiva. She gave him the errand of guarding her washroom entryway while she cleaned up. Meanwhile, Shiva got back and Ganesha, who didn’t have the foggiest idea what shiva’s identity was, halted him. This enraged Shiva and he cut off Ganesha’s head after an altercation between the two. Parvati was angered when she came to think about this; Lord Shiva, thus, vowed to return Ganesha once again to life. The devas were shipped off to look for a youngster’s head pointing toward the north however they could just discover an elephant’s head. Shiva fixed the elephant’s head on the youngster’s body, and that is how Ganesha was conceived.

The other famous story is that the Devas mentioned Shiva and Parvati to make Ganesha so he can be a Vighnakarta (maker of deterrents) for rakshasas (evil spirits), consequently being a Vighnaharta (averter of obstructions) and aiding Devas.
